    It is a low molecular weight Acrylic Maleic Polymer (PMA). It is a highly effective dispersant and scale inhibitor in cooling water treatment, boiler water treatment, reverse osmosis systems and many other scale control applications such as in textile dyeing, water injection systems in oil fields and sugar mill evaporators.

    Industrial cooling water contains particulate matter such as silt, clays and calcium based precipitates. The particles can deposit on heat transfer surfaces and produce excessive sediment in regions of low water velocity. In presence of the particles remains in dispersing condition and does not allow to settle on the surface of heat transfer. It is easily washed out and hence heat transfer increases ultimately fuel consumption reduces.
